Rachel Pinsker

Rachel's love of aesthetics has always been a driving force in her life. She was drawn to makeup and design at a very young age, and quickly became the go-to girl for holidays, weddings and other celebrations. Her experiences allowed her to see makeup artistry as an opportunity to help people overcome their insecurities by teaching them simple ways to enhance their natural beauty. After her training as a makeup artist at MUD Make-up Designery and her experience working with MAC Cosmetics, she began her own freelancing career with a cliental list that includes, Vanity Fair, Modern Bride, Yogi Times, Airwalk, various independent films, weddings, and other events. While freelancing, she furthered her knowledge of aesthetics by attending the Marinello School of Beauty where she earned her esthetician's license. She then became an educator for three large beauty product lines: Gigi, Clean and Easy, and Ardell Lashes. The combination of her experiences in aesthetics and dance led her to an exploration of total body consciousness; not just how your body looks, but also how it moves, responds and feels. Her business, Light n Lifted encourages others to use a holistic approach to health and beauty. She asserts that taking care of your body and skin from the inside out is a key ingredient for healthy living. Rachel is a trained dancer, aerialist, yogi and is beginning her studies in pilates. She is proud to be a part of the Artistry in Motion team.
